Titanic in My Shot Glass
20"x24" watercolor on Arches 300.lb acid free heavy wight watercolor paper. Made in 1997 along with two other paintings I stood before three judges and round table. I was so nervous I almost lit up a cigarette in the lobby of the school. But I left NYC with what I wanted - A way to go to school.
These images are responsible for my journey as an artist because these image gave me scholarship to Parson School of Design in NYC, a place I knew was too expensive ... but I went any way. This is basically a $20,000 sheet of paper ... and that's pretty awesome.
